The delightful Dorset countryside surrounding the Christchurch Harbour Hotel has pleasant walks along the beach, or local nature reserve at Stanpit Marsh only a few minutes away. The nearby New Forest is only a short drive, where there are lots of forest walks and picnic areas.

The Dorset and East Devon coastline has become a World Natural Heritage Site due to its outstanding geology.
